Her clinical expertise lies in suture-less vitrectomy and the management of diabetic retinopathy, polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV), and age-related macular degeneration. Her clinical interests include age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV), diabetic retinopathy, retinal dystrophies, and retinal vascular disorders, with ongoing focus on interventional research in ARMD.
Dr. Sangwan has received extensive training in pediatric retina under Dr. Parag Shah at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, with hands-on experience in conditions like Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), Retinoblastoma, and FEVR. Her academic and surgical background is further strengthened by advanced diagnostic expertise in Spectral Domain OCT, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, and Electrophysiological testing (ERG, EOG).
